The inspiration for Contour comes from real word development teams frustrated with cumbersome, complicated enterprise tools. We wanted a flexible, powerful tool that didn't get in the way of getting our jobs done. After searching and not finding the right product, we decided to build Contour.
Contour provides an easy way to keep project data current, in context and available anywhere you have a web browser. Contour is built using Web 2.0 technologies such as AJAX for an intuitive rich user interface in the web browser. No client software or add-in's are required. This means rapid deployment and quick user adoption.
Contour works alongside a scheduling tool such as Microsoft Project™ to provide a complete view of the project.
